- Oil Fired Appliance(Design,Install, Commission, Service and Maintain)
- Central Heating (Design,Install, Commission, Service and Maintain)
- Sanitation (Design,Install, Commission, Service and Maintain)
- Complex Cold Water (Design, Install, Commission, Service and Maintain)
- Complex Hot Water (Design, Install, Commission, Service and Maintain)
- Understand and Carry Out Electrical Work on Domestic Plumbing and Heating Systems and Components (Awareness)
- (Optional) : Industry relevant units
Entry Requirements
UK Requirements
GCSE Maths, English and ICT at Grade C or above/equivalent Ess. Skills; You must also have employment with a N. Ireland registered company confirmed by 31/07/2025 and hold a L2 Plumbing and Heating NVQ prior to entry.ROI Requirements
Leaving Certificate English, Maths and ICT at Grade O4 or above. You must also have employment with a N. Ireland registered company confirmed by 31/07/2025 and hold a L2 Plumbing and Heating NVQ prior to entry.Work Placement
You will be employed and attend college one day per week

Further Study
On successful completion of the Level 3 Diploma through Apprenticeship NI further progression options including the Higher National Certificate; Higher National Diploma; NEBOSH; or Degree options.Career Prospects
Many plumbers progress to design, consultancy, teaching and management, making the plumbing and heating industry a career with a long-term future. Plumbers can also become College Lecturers with the relevant entry criteria.Enquiry
